Toilet renovation, feature walls, full-flat microcement — how much does each cost and what affects the price?
Microcement costs more than tiles but significantly less than many homeowners expect when they consider the full value: no hacking, faster installation, and a finish that lasts 10–20 years.
| Project Type | Typical Price Range | Artilo Starting Price |
|---|---|---|
| Feature wall (per wall) | $800–$1,500 | From $800 |
| Toilet renovation (walls + floor) | $2,800–$5,000 | From $2,800 |
| Kitchen floor | $2,500–$4,000 | From $2,500 |
| Living room floor | $4,000–$8,000 | From $4,000 |
| HDB 3-Room full package | $12,000–$16,000 | From $13,999 |
| HDB 4-Room full package | $15,000–$22,000 | Quote required |
Microcement is priced per square metre. More coverage = higher cost. However, larger projects often get a lower per-sqm rate.
Microcement goes over existing tiles without hacking. However, if tiles are cracked, uneven, or have loose tiles, remedial work is needed first. This adds cost but is necessary for a quality result.
Standard colours and textures are included in the base price. Custom pigments or special textures (metallic, very fine, rough stone effect) may add a premium.
Jobs with multiple rooms, tight spaces, or complex shapes (curved walls, built-in furniture) take more time and skill — and cost more accordingly.
Premium polyurea sealers are more durable than standard polyurethane but cost more. We recommend polyurea for all wet areas like toilets and kitchens.
